You probably know our team professionally, but we thought it would be more interesting to reveal a bit about ourselves outside the office. After all, nothing says more about who we really are than the quirky things we do for fun. Here’s what some of us are up to when we’re not making films:
Carla Fotea – Producer
Carla spends her free time coloring, drawing, and reading children’s books. She says it’s relaxing, but we secretly suspect she might enjoy it even more than her own kid.
Ioana Bogdana – Development Manager & Junior Producer
Ioana’s hobby is participating in general knowledge pub quizzes. She genuinely enjoys trivia nights and probably knows way too much about random pop culture facts than most of us ever will.
Ada Solomon – Producer & Company Manager
Ada insists her hobbies aren’t necessarily interesting (we respectfully disagree): she enjoys contemporary dance—as both spectator and amateur participant—going to the theatre, gardening, and traveling whenever she gets the chance.
Cristina Ivan – Office Manager
Cristina is passionate about sports: tennis, figure skating, football, gymnastics, Formula 1, you name it, she’s probably watching it. When she’s not busy cheering for her favorites, she’s likely solving crossword puzzles, a skill she’s perfected by keeping track of us at the office.
Diana Caravia – Producer
Diana enjoys kickboxing, loves playing video games (Disco Elysium, The Last of Us, and This War of Mine are current favorites), and spends admittedly too much time tracking trends and taking the society’s pulse on TikTok (spoiler: the outlook can be bleak).
Marc Solomon – Editor & Technical Supervisor
Marc describes himself as a dedicated gamer who’s particularly interested in gaming history and storytelling through gameplay mechanics. Although he’s generally not too fond of narrative-driven games, he makes notable exceptions for classics like Metal Gear Solid and Resident Evil. And even if he’s not winning gaming competitions anytime soon, his enthusiasm more than makes up for it.
Edi Alex Mustață – Production Coordinator
Edi’s ideal free time includes plenty of nature: camping, cycling, hiking, and playing petanque on the beach. Basically, if it’s outdoors and involves fresh air, he’s in.
Karina Bărbulescu – Financing Coordinator
Karina recently started embroidery and likes to do it while watching movies or series. She also loves traveling and admits to spending a fair amount of free time playing The Sims.
